About the Event
Wild Pavements: Exploring Britain's Cities with an Urban Naturalist
There are so many natural delights in our neighbourhood that we walk past every day, but rarely take a moment to notice. Amanda Tuke is an expert at spotting these amazing natural treasures.
Amanda, author of Wild Pavements will lead a relaxed walk of around 75-90mins in streets close to the bookshop in search of the fascinating wild plants and other wildlife which find a home on our pavements.
Join us in the shop before 2pm. The tour will being promptly! Numbers need to be kept tight as too large a crowd will make it difficult to hear the discussion. It is therefore important to book tickets in advance, so you aren't disappointed on the day.
The walk will be leisurely with lively conversation along the way, with regular stops as Amanda finds interesting things to point out.
